Grand Rapids Garage Sale Days THIS Weekend! August 13-14 starting both days at 9am! There are LOTS of goodies for the sale, plus you can get some lunch and then dessert from the kitchen/bake sale! Before you take off make sure to get your car washed by the Youth Group! Sunday School Community Picnic and Carnival! Saturday August 28th from 10am - 2pm Fun for the ENTIRE family! The main focus will be the Children's activities! Games, Music, Prizes, Crafts! For the Teens and Adults we will have an area set up with some yard games or you can help with some of the children's activities! Please bring a Dish to Share for a Community Pot-Luck Picnic outside during the festivities! Anyone who would like to donate their time, finances, prizes etc. towards the fun for the kids, please contact the church at 419-832-5261! This is a FREE EVENT! HOWEVER - To make it INTERESTING there will be a competition! Bring your Spare Change to fill up a bottle as HIGH as you can! For the men and women, Pastor Dave Staiger, and Assistant Pastor Wade Hall Sr. are willing to wager a Pie in the face! Wade will be for the Men and Dave for the Women! If the men bring in the most change (space in the jar filled, not counted) then Wade get's to throw a pie in Pastor Dave's face! And vice-versa - If the women fill their jar up higher, Dave will get to throw a pie in Wades face! You WON"T want to miss this! Bring your spare change and root for your team! For the children/teens - Julie and Brenda will do the same. Julie is with the girls, and Brenda with the Boys! Start rounding up some spare change and root for your team! Let's make this a fun day for the kids and their families! |
