Community Garage Sale Every year, our church participates in the Grand Rapids Community Garage Sale Days. All year long, you can come and leave things at the church to donate for the garage sale. The day of the sales, we also have lunch. You can buy a hot dog, sloppy joe,nachos and chips, and lots more, and sit down at tables outside to enjoy your lunch while you take a break from your walking and shopping.
If you have items you would like to donate toward the Garage sale, please email us at julie03@live.com and we will contact you with a good time for you to drop them off.
Also, we are willing to use the items donated for the garage sale, to be a "coat closet." If you, or someone you know is in need of clothing between now, and when we have the garage sale, just let us know, and you are more than welcome to look through what we have. Do you know someone that's had a fire in their home and maybe needs some clothing? Or an illness? and is in need of clothing? Let us know.
Church Picnic and Carnival Every year for our Church Picnic. We have a carnival for the community set up right here in our very own parking lot. We have the picnic on the church grounds and then have games for everyone. Children to the Adults. Moon Jump for the kids, Horse back rides, Dunk Tank, and many many many more games with PRIZES!!! The people of the church supply the food, and all are welcome to come and eat with us, then stick around for a fun time. Again, this is a free, open to the entire community event.
Food Pantry and Otsego Christmas Baskets when you are shopping, remember the Food Pantry at the Presbyterian Church and Otsego Christmas Baskets. Donations are accepted at the Wesleyan Church for both of these things throughout the year.
Prayer Chain If you or someone you know is in need of prayer, please call the church, or Ruth Good to have the Prayer Chain activated for you.
